EPSJ focuses on all impacts on human and non-human life, as well as on the peace and security of the Earth's shared habitat, with a particular emphasis on constructive proposals for nonviolent conflict resolution and peace building. Although open to non economic methods, most submissions emphasize economic analysis of the causes, consequences, and possible solutions for preventing or mitigating conflicts and violence.

This journal is aimed at scholars, policy makers, policy analysts, national and international civil servants, members of armed forces and peacekeeping services, the business community, non-governmental organizations, religious institutions, and other interested parties, with the aim of providing high-quality, clear, and easy to read content. All submitted articles undergo plagiarism checks, all published articles undergo peer review, and adhere to and implement international publishing ethics standards.
